PhotoFriday - 'Minimalism' A small cow.
I don't often double post on photo friday but I've been feeling nostalgic recently and looking at old photos. This fit this weeks PhotoFriday theme. I also posted over on my underwater blog with an oldie.

PhotoFriday - Mountain
To celebrate having found my original Peru photos after all these years, here is my original edit of Machu Picchu, one of the highest mountains that Mike and I have ever been on.
Last weekend I was trying to figure out some extra space on my network storage (NAS) by deduplicating a lot of stuff that's been piling up over the years (I'll write a blog post on this in due course I'm sure) and as part of that process I found a folder of images I thought I'd lost in a long ago hard drive crash! Yay! You can see the other entries for this weeks photo friday and add your own here.

Whats cute & grey and has a hard life? PhotoFriday - 'Gray'
On my UnderwaterPhotography blog I try to do a PhotoFriday post when the mood strikes me (or
the theme is good). This week the theme is Gray (one presumes so that they can
jump on the #50Shades bandwagon). Earlier today I posted mine on social media
with the tagline “What’s cute and grey and likes to be tickled”, well Manatees of course, get your minds out of the gutter! This is my follow up post for a
more close-to-home look on how one poor Manatee has fared in the dubious
clutches of our very own cat Dallas. No wonder they are on the verge of extinction!
Actually, this Manatee is a hardy little chap, he’s been fixed several times
and is still going strong as Dallas’ go-to toy when he wants to beat the crap
out of something other than his sister. If you’re stopping by Three Sister Springs
looking for a souvenir (or a trip to see the Manatees since its the right time of year), we got this one from Birds Underwater. When Dallas was
a only a little kitten he claimed him as his own (even though the Manatee was well
over half his size) and has been dragging him around the house ever since. I don’t
think Dallas would be so bold around a real manatee (water notwithstanding).
Here is a short video of one having a good old fashion scratch (they are like
giant underwater puppies).
